Senior Vice President – Funds Fiduciary | Maples Group

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Acceptance: Coordinate the client acceptance process for new relationships.
• Fiduciary Oversight: Review transaction documents and diligently exercise fiduciary duties.
• Service Delivery: Deliver high levels of client service while ensuring each client relationship adheres to internal policies and procedures.
• Team Leadership: Assist with the management of other professional and junior staff in a collaborative team environment.
• External Representation: Get involved with ad hoc projects and potentially represent the Maples Group at various industry association events as required.
The Must-Haves
• Background: University degree with an excellent academic background and an internationally recognised professional designation. Strong knowledge of all forms of investment funds and strategies, corporate governance, relevant local laws, and regulatory requirements. An in-depth understanding of financial statements.
• Experience: At least eight to ten years’ relevant financial services experience, including five to seven years of previous directorship experience. Experience reviewing transaction documents, liaising with various international transaction parties, and managing a team involved in the provision of fiduciary services.
• Skills: Superb attention to detail, professionalism, excellent organizational skills, a team-first mentality, strong drafting, critical thinking, and communication skills (fluent written and oral English). Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle a complex and diverse workload, work well under pressure, and maintain confidentiality.
• Bonus: Experience with unit trusts and conflict advisory consent services, along with experience in relationship management, client service, and new business development.
