Job Description: Senior Thought Leader Liaison, Lung – NYC/NJ/PA

This is a field-based position, with preference for the candidate to reside in the NYC/NJ/PA region with easy access to a national airport.

The Senior Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) -PD, Lung will lead the Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement strategy for the NYC/NJ/PA region. This role also plays a significant part in the overall KOL strategy to expand engagement capabilities with innovative solutions across the Lung portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of regional KOL engagement strategy, marketing education strategy and faculty development, including oversight of regional peer-to-peer marketing plans, healthcare compliance training for faculty, and other related activities.
• Serve as a key member of the RYBREVANT Brand team by providing local market insights and feedback to shape future brand strategies.
• Build trusting relationships with academic and community KOLs, and other key stakeholders to achieve above-brand priorities.
• Monitor regional Lung Cancer trends and coordinate regional marketing education and engagement plans with cross-functional partners to ensure heightened KOL and customer engagement strategies aligned with the brand’s strategic imperatives.
• Partner with integrated analytics teams to understand regional variations in treatment patterns and inform peer-to-peer and insight program placement.
• Closely monitor the regional marketing budget and provide continuous feedback on business planning.
• Assist in shaping future innovative educational platforms, including national and regional recommendations to tailor education to local needs and create innovative solutions for engaging KOLs at regional and national medical congresses.
• Lead the overall brand strategy, including mapping, framework development, innovative engagement planning for current and future brands. This includes managing KOL strategy and planning, agency management, and champion materials through CAC, Totality, and MRC.
• Partner with Commercial Excellence to develop tools to inform the placement of insight generation and 3rd party placement.
• Potentially manage other oncology TLLs to increase capabilities, meet development needs, and maximize impact on key initiatives.
• Maintain complete understanding of ACCME/HCC/PhRMA Guidelines.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a BA/BS Degree in a related field is required; MBA, MD, PharmD, PhD or other related graduate degree preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing, medical, key account management, sales, or sales leadership, ideally engaging with KOLs/Influential HCPs and professional healthcare organizations.
• Deep understanding and experience working cross functionally with various key internal and external stakeholders, with a strong ability to innovate, collaborate and deliver results with desired outcomes.
• Demonstrated understanding of key industry trends and ability to develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition and maximize patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage relevant and lasting customer relationships with strong focus on patient impact and outstanding customer centricity.
• A valid driver’s license issued in the United States is required.
• This position requires greater than 50% travel (can be up to 65% travel) to field-based educational events, internal meetings, congresses, and select program attendance (many occurring on weekends).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous cross-functional industry experience in pharma or biotech engaging with KOLs and professional healthcare associations is preferred.
• Deep medical/scientific knowledge/experience with a firm understanding of the oncology marketplace is preferred.
• Experience leading through change and transformation, and exceptional communication and leadership skills is preferred.
• Oncology experience highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $203,550.
• The company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
• This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
