Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Solutions Architect to join our dynamic and growing team. This pivotal role will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into tangible, scalable, and secure technical architectures. You will serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, guiding the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions across various platforms and technologies. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, cloud platforms, data strategies, and a passion for leading complex projects from concept to successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design & Strategy:
• Lead the design and development of end-to-end solution architectures that align with business objectives, technical standards, and long-term strategic goals.
• Define architectural principles, patterns, and best practices, ensuring their consistent application across projects.
• Conduct thorough analyses of existing systems and recommend improvements, modernization strategies, and technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks to meet specific project requirements, considering factors like scalability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Technical Leadership & Guidance:
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the technical quality and integrity of solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Act as a technical liaison between various departments (e.g., engineering, product, operations, sales) to ensure alignment and clear communication.
• Lead proof-of-concept projects to validate new technologies and architectural approaches.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business needs, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements.
• Clearly articulate complex technical concepts and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, diagrams, and documentation.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate decision-making processes, ensuring alignment on proposed solutions.
• Security & Compliance:
• Design solutions with a strong emphasis on security, privacy, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, industry-specific standards).
• Implement robust security measures and ensure architectural designs mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
• Performance & Scalability Optimization:
• Ensure solutions are designed for optimal performance, reliability, and scalability to handle projected growth and user loads.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and architectural limitations.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including solution diagrams, design specifications, data models, and technical roadmaps.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 5 years specifically in a Solutions Architect or Lead Architect role.
• Architectural Expertise:
• Proven track record of designing and delivering complex, scalable, and secure enterprise-level solutions.
• Deep understanding of various architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Serverless, Monolithic, SOA).
• Extensive experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including services related to compute, storage, networking, databases, and serverless computing.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies (relational and NoSQL) and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in designing APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) and integration patterns.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Hands-on experience with multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, Go, Node.js).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Soft Skills:
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for guiding and developing technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach.
• Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• High degree of adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with specific industry domains (e.g., FinTech, Healthcare, E-commerce, SaaS).
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their application in enterprise solutions.
• Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
