• Mission: Lead the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of NetSuite solutions for clients, while expanding the firm’s NetSuite practice.
• Tech Stack: NetSuite (Procure to pay, Quote to Cash, Inventory, Fixed Assets, General ledger, Professional Services, Contract Management, Cash Disbursements / Cash Receipts), Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), ASC 606
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Leadership: Shape the strategic direction of the NetSuite practice, helping to define its methodology and approach.
• Business Development: Drive business development by expanding and growing existing accounts and pursuing new client opportunities, achieving $1M+ annual revenue.
• Project Delivery & Client Leadership: Lead NetSuite-related projects, including new implementations, enhancements, and integrations, serving as the primary liaison to clients and communicating with senior executives.
• Solution Innovation: Identify, design, and implement creative business solutions using NetSuite to address client challenges and improve the firm’s offerings.
• Team Development & Mentorship: Mentor and develop team members, actively participating in career development and technical training of staff to build high-performing teams.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, IT, or a related field. This Director-level role requires strong business skills and experience in accounting, finance, or operations.
• Experience: 8+ years of full lifecycle NetSuite implementation, upgrade, and support experience, with Tier 1 or Tier 2 consulting experience. Hands-on experience with NetSuite modules including Procure to Pay, Quote to Cash, Inventory, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Professional Services, Contract Management, Cash Disbursements/Receipts. Knowledge of ASC 606 and experience with Advanced Revenue Management (ARM). Demonstrated track record of achieving business development targets by growing accounts and generating $1M+ revenue annually, alongside proven ability to lead and build teams. Flexibility to travel up to 25%.
• Skills: Ability to lead workshops, including requirements gathering, use-case documentation, and process recommendations. Strong business acumen to assess functional and technical gaps, define Business Benefits and Costs, and develop detailed work plans for project activities.
• Bonus: NetSuite SuiteFoundation or NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant certifications. Experience with data conversions, interfaces/integrations, reporting, and customizations to NetSuite applications. Experience managing technical development as a liaison and training/supporting end users. Experience testing NetSuite application instances. CPA, PMP, or MBA.
