About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform Development team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy highly scalable, reliable, and performant backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js).

• Collaborate closely with product managers, other engineering teams, and DevOps to define requirements, deliver solutions, and integrate new features seamlessly.
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of platform services.
• Proactively identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and areas for system improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support the stability and availability of our production systems.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to the team’s technical growth and development.
• Champion best practices in software engineering, including design patterns, testing methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential application to our platform.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend systems, distributed services, and platform engineering.
• Expert proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Go, Java, C#, or Node.js.
• Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable APIs and microservices.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to debug complex issues across a distributed system.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments.
