What You’ll Actually Do
• Architect & Develop: Architect and develop robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications and microservices.
• System Design: Design and implement highly available and fault-tolerant systems on major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Technical Leadership: Drive technical excellence through architectural discussions and code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
• Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and overall development processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, with a significant focus on cloud-native application development and distributed systems.
• Experience: 5+ years in software development with extensive hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code principles (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates). Expertise in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Go, Java, or C#.
• Skills: Solid understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven patterns, RESTful APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), database systems (SQL and NoSQL), CI/CD tools, and problem-solving for complex distributed systems.
• Bonus: Experience with serverless computing, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), front-end frameworks (React, Angular), observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and security best practices in cloud environments.
