Job Summary

Global Innovations Tech Solutions is on the hunt for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing product development team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions that power our cutting-edge AI-driven analytics platform. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers, contributing significantly to our architectural roadmap and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of critical features and services for our core platform using modern software development practices.
• Architect and build scalable microservices and APIs that integrate seamlessly with various internal and external systems.
• Write clean, well-tested, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in Python or Java, with an emphasis on best practices and design patterns.
• Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, QA, Data Science) to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
• Participate in and lead code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards, security, and performance best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and contributing to their professional growth.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs across the application lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and overall development processes.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and practices to enhance our platform.
• Document technical designs, specifications, and system architecture clearly and concisely.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead engineering role.
• Expertise in Python or Java, including experience with relevant frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot for Java, Django/Flask for Python).
• Proven experience designing and building scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software design patterns.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of data streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka).
• Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda).
• Familiarity with Machine Learning operations (MLOps) or integrating AI/ML models into production systems.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal technical projects.
• Previous experience working in a fully remote or distributed team environment.
