What You’ll Actually Do
• Software Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-performance, scalable software applications and services.
• Technical Leadership: Lead the technical design and implementation of new features, significant system enhancements, and architectural improvements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code, actively participating in code reviews to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and development within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with a strong understanding of software development.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a portfolio of shipped products and projects, including demonstrated experience designing and building distributed systems, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
• Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, Go, C#, or JavaScript (Node.js), strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design, experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra), and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Bonus: Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, message queuing systems, contributions to open-source, previous technical leadership, or domain knowledge in AI, machine learning, or data analytics.
