What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Lead the design and development of complex software modules and features, from conception to deployment.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and strategic technical decisions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying relevant advancements to our stack.

What You’ll Bring (Qualifications):

  • Required Skills:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong portfolio of shipped products/features.
    • Expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
    • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, make technical decisions, and influence team direction.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Bonus Points:
    • Experience with microservices architecture.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
    • Contributions to open-source projects.
    • Experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
