VP, Liquidity Product Manager-Transaction Banking | Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group

The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, based in Dallas, Chicago, New York, or Los Angeles. • Team: Reports to the Head of the Liquidity Product Management Transaction Banking of Americas (TBA) and is a member of the Liquidity Solutions Team.
• Mission: Manage and deliver Transaction Banking Liquidity Products within the United States, with a primary focus on the virtual account management product and on-balance sheet deposit options.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Products (Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint), Confluence or other collaboration platforms

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead the end-to-end product management and development for a new virtual account management product within the Transaction Banking Liquidity Products portfolio.
• Generate and analyze monthly reports of key performance indicators to manage P&L revenue targets and identify emerging balance and revenue trends.
• Serve as a central participant in product lifecycle activities, performing new product/feature approvals, developing operating procedures, and representing the business to technology and operational teams.
• Coordinate the development and enhancement of the product set by working with Project Managers, Operations, Client Delivery, IT partners, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and address product risk issues proactively, including the remediation of audit or self-identified concerns, while participating in periodic product risk assessments and procedure reviews.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with over six years of experience in product management, operations, service, or business analysis within the wholesale/transaction banking market.
• Experience: Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on execution. Possess technical working knowledge of industry cash management standard payment file formats.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Products, specifically Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentation. Strong understanding of regulatory implications on bank liquidity and how they affect clients. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver executive-level presentations. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, initiate projects, prioritize tasks, and exercise solid judgment in complex situations.
• Bonus: Preferred knowledge of delivering Transaction Banking services to Asian corporate clients, familiarity with bank systems and online banking management, and a good understanding of investment vehicles such as money market mutual funds. Working knowledge of Confluence or other collaboration platforms is also a plus.
