Senior Paralegal | CHANEL

This is a partially remote role at CHANEL, located in New York City, requiring a minimum of three days in-person office presence. What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support the Legal team across litigation, employment, regulatory, and commercial matters, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of legal processes and strategies.
• Manage: Drive efficient case management, including tracking workflows, timelines, and key deliverables across multiple legal matters with precision and attention to detail.
• Partner: Partner with outside counsel to support the legal team effectively, which includes organizing files, gathering necessary documents, and coordinating interviews.
• Mitigate: Strengthen risk mitigation efforts by supporting internal investigations, continuously monitoring relevant regulations, and contributing to legal monitoring processes.
• Organize: Build and maintain a centralized, user-friendly database specifically for tracking U.S. legal and regulatory developments, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior level professional with a strong understanding of legal workflows and comprehensive case management principles.
• Experience: 7+ years of paralegal experience gained in a demanding environment with exposure to multiple areas of law; demonstrated experience supporting discovery processes, managing litigation holds, and assisting with investigations.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills for collaborating with legal and business stakeholders; demonstrated judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information; proven ability to manage competing priorities independently while consistently maintaining high-quality work; and agility in adopting AI-enabled tools to perform efficiently.
• Bonus: Proficiency with legal and business systems such as iManage, Coupa, and Microsoft tools; experience with tracking legislation, budgeting/spend, and maintaining legal databases.
