This role is crucial for originating new business, driving revenue, and managing key client relationships, all while ensuring adherence to the bank’s governance and risk standards.

• Mission: This role owns originating treasury and global markets solutions for corporate clients to address their balance sheet, risk management, and transactional needs.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Originate Client Business: Originate treasury and markets-related business from corporate clients, driving revenues across FX, rates, deposits, and approved structured solutions.
• Drive Market Share & Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to enhance the bank’s market share and revenue in corporate treasury and markets products, staying updated with market trends and competitor activities.
• Manage Client Relationships: Maintain strong senior-level relationships with corporate clients and coverage teams, identifying their balance sheet, liquidity, and risk management requirements.
• Lead & Develop Team: Lead and manage a team of professionals within the FX & Derivatives division, mentoring them and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Coordinate Solutions & Compliance: Coordinate with Structuring, Trading, and Product teams to deliver seamless client solutions, ensuring all transactions comply with suitability, credit, and risk frameworks, and relevant regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Director-level professional with a deep understanding of corporate treasury and markets products, including FX, derivatives, and other financial instruments. Preferred qualifications in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Corporate Banking Sales or Treasury Origination, with a proven track record in client origination and revenue generation.
• Skills: Strong commercial judgment and acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, and in-depth knowledge of the UAE corporate landscape.
• Bonus: Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
