About The Role: Senior Machine Learning Engineer
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Fieldguide, you’ll be instrumental in developing and implementing machine learning (ML) driven features to enhance the Fieldguide platform’s capabilities within the audit and advisory industry. This role focuses on building first-generation ML applications, particularly leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) and generative AI.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems and map them to suitable ML solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement ML models with a specific focus on NLP and generative AI applications.
• Curate, clean, and prepare data for model development and training.
• Create and maintain ETL jobs for efficient data processing.
• Conduct rapid prototyping of ML solutions to quickly iterate on ideas.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ML, particularly in NLP and generative AI.
• Collaborate with the platform engineering team to seamlessly integrate ML solutions into the overall product architecture.
• Implement data flywheels to continuously improve ML features through increased usage.
• Define and implement ML performance metrics for effective evaluation.
• Contribute to the product roadmap with innovative ML-driven feature ideas.
• Be an essential technical contributor at a Series B-stage company as it scales.
