Senior International Consultant | Aon Consulting
The Tone:

This role is crucial for leading strategic client relationships, delivering high-quality consulting services, and significantly contributing to the expansion of our international benefits portfolio across the UK and Ireland.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Relationship Ownership: Own and lead strategic client relationships, serving as the primary technical and strategic advisor to multinational clients.
• Strategic Consulting Delivery: Deliver strategic reviews for key clients, providing expert guidance on international benefit structures, multinational pooling, and country-specific regulations.
• Business Development & Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities from existing clients or contacts, supporting the achievement of business plan and revenue growth objectives.
• Team Leadership & Development: Provide direct line management for your client team, including performance management, coaching, and ensuring high service standards and administrative accuracy.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with international colleagues and engage effectively with insurers, providers, and third parties to deliver seamless global client service.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level experience in international employee benefits consulting, capable of leading strategic client relationships.
• Experience: Significant experience in international employee benefits; Demonstrated experience managing senior client relationships; Previous line management experience preferred.
• Skills: Deep technical expertise in international benefits structures and regulatory requirements (including IDD); Proven ability to lead, develop, and empower teams; Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to translate complex global needs into practical solutions; Excellent communication (written and verbal) and client-focused leadership; Strong organizational and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferred.
