Senior Insurance Defense Associate | We Are Legal Revolution

This is a full-time role at We Are Legal Revolution, located remotely in New York, NY. What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead complex litigation: Strategically lead the defense of complex cases spanning general liability, premises liability, and motor vehicle accidents, serving a diverse client base that includes insurers, municipalities, and corporate entities.
• Develop case strategies: Provide comprehensive strategic client advisement in high-exposure cases, meticulously guiding clients through intricate legal processes to navigate risks and achieve favorable resolutions.
• Draft legal documents: Execute advanced legal research and meticulously draft critical legal documents such as complex motions, detailed briefs, and other essential pleadings with precision and strategic foresight.
• Manage discovery and trials: Prepare for and conduct depositions efficiently, ensuring thorough discovery, and engage vigorously in trial preparation to secure decisive victories in challenging tort and negligence matters.
• Operate with autonomy: Exercise full autonomy over your schedule in a fully remote setup, maintaining an unwavering focus on client satisfaction and delivering results without the constraints of a traditional office environment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level legal professional with a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, actively admitted to the New York State Bar.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant litigation experience, with a strong preference for experience in insurance defense, general liability, premises liability, or related tort matters.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in legal research, drafting complex legal documents (motions, briefs), conducting depositions, performing trial preparation, and providing strategic client advisement in high-exposure cases.
• Bonus: Admission to additional state jurisdictions is considered a plus, and flexibility will be considered for exceptional candidates who are close on required experience.
