What You’ll Actually Do
• Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy highly scalable, performant, and secure full-stack web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Lead the development of new features and enhancements, taking full ownership from conceptualization through to production deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure successful product delivery.
• Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and data integrity for backend services.
• Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development with a strong portfolio of shipped products, including hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider, with AWS preferred.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, modern front-end frameworks like React.js (or Angular/Vue.js), Node.js and its ecosystem (e.g., Express.js, NestJS), RESTful API design, relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), ORM usage, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Docker, exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client/Server, understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems, knowledge of security best practices for web applications, familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), experience working in a regulated industry or with compliance standards, and prior experience with large-scale data processing or real-time systems.
