What You’ll Actually Do
• Design, develop, and deploy new features and enhancements for web applications, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across the full stack, utilizing modern front-end and back-end frameworks.
• Collaborate effectively with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions within an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Lead and actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize and manage database schemas and queries (SQL and NoSQL) to ensure data integrity, high performance, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience in full stack web development.
• Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in full stack web development with a strong portfolio of shipped products. Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Skills: Expert proficiency in at least one modern front-end JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), demonstrable expertise in at least one modern back-end language and framework (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby on Rails), extensive experience with relational databases and strong command of SQL, deep understanding of RESTful API design principles, and exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bonus: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, experience with real-time applications or WebSocket technologies, familiarity with serverless architectures, knowledge of performance optimization techniques, experience with TDD/BDD, active contributions to open-source projects, or prior technical leadership experience.
