The Opportunity: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic product development team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust web applications, working across the entire stack from user interface to backend services and databases. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences and high-quality software solutions that meet our evolving business needs and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and secure full-stack applications using modern technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into technical specifications and functional software.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring adherence to coding standards, performing comprehensive code reviews, and contributing to robust testing frameworks and documentation.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, proactively identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks to ensure a smooth and responsive user experience.
• Actively participate in architectural discussions, contributing valuable insights and helping to shape the evolution of our technical roadmap and system design.
• Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and actively contribute to a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and technical excellence within the team.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues, providing timely resolutions and implementing preventative measures to enhance system stability and reliability.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, evaluating and recommending their adoption where beneficial to improve our technology stack and development processes.

What You’ll Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive professional experience in full-stack software development, with a strong portfolio of shipped products or significant contributions to large-scale systems.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, coupled with expert-level command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Extensive experience with back-end frameworks and languages, including Node.js (Express), Python (Django/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot).
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with both relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
  • Proven experience with RESTful API design, development, and integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to diagnose complex technical issues and propose effective, scalable solutions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile team environment, fostering positive relationships and contributing to a cohesive team culture.
