Financial Analyst – Fleet Finance | Stellantis

This Financial Analyst role is within Stellantis, a global automaker known for designing, manufacturing, and selling vehicles. This position is vital to the company’s financial health, focusing on the intricate financial operations of its Fleet segment, which involves supporting monthly cash forecasts, P&L submissions, and fixed cost analysis. What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Forecasting: Consolidate, validate, and submit Fleet’s monthly direct and indirect cash forecast submissions to North America Treasury, and prepare weekly/monthly ‘Best Estimate’ P&L submissions for North America FP&A.
• Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Control and analyze fixed cost activity, developing budgets and forecasts for Fleet, while reporting monthly actuals and explaining variances against plans.
• Income Statement Management: Assist with the consolidation, validation, and submission of actuals, forecasts, variances, and period-to-period explanations of Fleet’s income statement to FP&A and all management levels.
• Compliance & Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between Fleet Finance, North America FP&A, Corporate Finance Consolidation Team, and Internal Controls, serving as the departmental SOX Champion to monitor procedures and coordinate certification.
• Strategic Support: Provide assistance with detailed analyses related to the Guaranteed Depreciation Program’s auction risk or opportunities, along with booking journal entries and offering ad-hoc project support.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a working knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, including prior experience in audit, SOX, FP&A, and/or internal controls.
• Skills: High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams; proven oral and written communication skills; and demonstrated analytical capabilities.
• Bonus: MBA or master’s degree in accounting or finance; exposure/experience in Platform Finance and/or Sales & Marketing Finance; consolidation experience and familiarity with financial systems such as Essbase & OneStream; ability to multitask and adapt easily to change, including prioritization of assignments; and the ability to work with large volumes of data, summarize it, and draw conclusions.
