What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Technical accounting and financial reporting for M&A activities including review of legal agreements, compilation of purchase accounting, and support for related GAO and P&A teams.
• Advise: Serve as a subject matter expert for M&A and related activity technical accounting and financial reporting matters, contributing to SEC filings and press releases.
• Assess: Partner with Global Accounting Organization teams and cross-functional business partners to evaluate the accounting impact of new transactions and initiatives, such as business combinations and asset acquisitions.
• Consult: Advise Global Accounting Organization teams on complex accounting and policy questions, supporting the global consultation process on inquiries.
• Implement: Monitor the external environment for new regulatory and accounting guidance, facilitating its assessment and implementation efforts for the Global Accounting Organization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: B.S. in Accounting, with a focus on corporate accounting, accounting policy, and strategic initiatives.
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience, including aptitude for broad US GAAP subject matter, codification research, and documentation. Proven ability to work independently and exhibit high situational agility.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, results-oriented, proactive communication, process and process improvement driven mindset, working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Bonus: CPA, Master’s in Accounting, Big Four public accounting firm experience, working knowledge of SAP and OneStream, SEC filing experience, experience with the implementation of new accounting standards, or M&A-related accounting, financial reporting, or audit experience.
