Job Description: Senior Field Service Technician

P&G Professional, the commercial division of Procter & Gamble, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Field Service Technician (FST) to join their rapidly expanding team. This full-time, field-based position is crucial for providing exceptional service to clients in the hospitality, foodservice, and long-term care industries by maintaining and repairing chemical dispensing equipment and other commercial operational equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Field Service Technician will work independently to:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment.
• Service other equipment used in commercial foodservice or laundry operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
• Adhere to a 5-day, 8-hour work week, which may include 12-hour shifts, occasional weekends, and night shifts.
• Participate in on-call coverage, including occasional weekends, holidays, and night shifts.

Job Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills through provided training.
• A basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems.
• The ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis effectively.
• Moderate working knowledge of appropriate tools, data, implements, and service needs.
• Proficiency in laptop and cell phone technology, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• A valid driver’s license.
• The ability to live in the specified job location (Jackson).

Essential Physical Job Functions

This role requires physical capabilities including, but not limited to:

• Lifting, lowering, and carrying objects up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling objects up to 50 lbs.
• Climbing vertical ladders, stairs (up and down).
• Standing, sitting, and/or walking for long periods.
• Twisting, bending at the knees, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and reaching for equipment installation and maintenance.
• Working on various surfaces such as concrete and asphalt (potentially uneven).
• Operating a computer keyboard and phone.
• Working in extreme temperatures (hot and cold), dust, and dirt, typical of warehouse conditions.
• Giving and discerning visual and audible alarms/signals for equipment startup, evacuation, and fires.
• Operating a motor vehicle safely for approximately 30% of the day, traveling in city, rural, and expressway conditions.
• Being eligible to be on-site at customer locations consistent with occupational health and safety requirements.
