Director of Digital Products | Montefiore Medical Center
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Montefiore Medical Center, located in Elmsford, New York. Montefiore is nationally recognized for clinical excellence, pioneering research, and delivering patient-centered care. This role is crucial to Montefiore’s system-level investment in its Digital team, leading the creation and oversight of a new team to drive digital transformation and measure the value of digital initiatives across the organization. The Director will play a key part in shaping the future of digital products and operations within a leading healthcare institution.

• Team: Digital team; creates and leads a team supporting the overall Digital function.
• Mission: To create and lead a team that supports the overall Digital function across strategy, finance, talent, business operations, and value measurement of Digital activities to the organization.
• Tech Stack: ServiceNow, ITSM, ITIL, Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PPT, Project), PowerBI, Jira, Confluence, Visio
What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Establish and refine effective standard processes for internal Digital program management and underlying Digital operations.
• Strategy: Collaborate with technology, operational, and clinical leaders to contribute to the Digital roadmap and define OKRs and metrics for digital efforts.
• Measurement: Establish and maintain standard methods for measuring Digital initiatives and effectively convey the value of Digital investments to various audiences.
• Leadership: Directly manage a subset of Product Managers and provide dotted-line leadership across the broader product team, guiding and developing team members.
• Interface: Serve as the operational interface between Design, Product, Engineering, Operations, and business stakeholders, improving communication flows across teams.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, with 10+ years of demonstrated experience in Operations, Technology, and/or Data/Analytics, and a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role with familiarity in digital product.
• Experience: Proven experience in driving transformational change, leading high-performing teams, practical experience with project management, data, and BI tools, and entrepreneurial experience building teams from inception.
• Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills, high empathy and stakeholder management, ability to translate business needs into technology/operational solutions, rigorous business cases, and defined outcome measures.
• Bonus: Master’s degree preferred, ITIL certification preferred, experience working with healthcare data preferred.
