Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with a strong focus on AI and Machine Learning to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end development of advanced analytical models and predictive systems, from hypothesis generation and data exploration to model deployment and performance monitoring. You will work on challenging, high-impact projects, leveraging large datasets to uncover insights, build intelligent features, and drive significant business value across various domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated machine learning models, predictive algorithms, and AI solutions.
• Conduct in-depth exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform model development and business strategy.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define problem statements, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Architect and optimize data pipelines and feature engineering processes to ensure data quality and model readiness.
• Perform rigorous model validation, testing, and A/B experimentation to assess performance, robustness, and impact.
• Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team’s best practices in data science, machine learning, and MLOps.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and statistical modeling, evaluating and integrating new methodologies and tools.
• Ensure the ethical use of data and adherence to data privacy regulations throughout the modeling lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, with a significant focus on developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Extensive experience with various machine learning algorithms (e.g., deep learning, NLP, computer vision, regression, classification, clustering, time series).
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and causal inference.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation from large-scale databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data/ML services.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end data science projects, from conception to deployment and monitoring.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices for model versioning, deployment, and monitoring (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with advanced deep learning architectures for specific domains (e.g., transformers for NLP, CNNs for computer vision).
• Track record of publications in top-tier conferences or journals, or significant open-source contributions.
