Description: Senior Cloud Native Developer

Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology? A cloud solutions builder who wants to work in a collaborative environment?

This role offers the opportunity to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel.

As a Senior Cloud Native Developer, you will:

Lead cloud engineering teams in designing and developing cloud native systems.
Lead, create, build, and implement applications based on modern cloud design patterns and cloud software development, utilizing cloud computing and services in public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
Leverage cloud native services to drive innovation and accelerate speed to market in the software development lifecycle.
Maintain application DevOps processes and deployment pipelines to implement and support application and feature releases.
Assist in system migration to the cloud by supporting the refactoring of legacy systems to modernize applications or integrating services to leverage cloud native services and solutions.
Continuously learn and grow professionally as a cloud native engineer as new cloud services and solutions emerge.
Support and lead project tasks.

Required Currently pursuings:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years’ experience developing full stack solutions and utilizing software build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, Bitbucket, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy).
• 6+ years application and modern API development (Go, Golang, NodeJS).
• 6+ years web application development experience, particularly NodeJS and Typescript(Angular, React, JavaScript nice to haves).
• Hands-on experience with OpenSearch and/or ElastiSearch.
• 6+ years cloud native language experience (Lambda, Node.js, Python).
• Strong understanding of cloud serverless solutions (S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda Functions, ElastiCache, SQS, MQ, RDS).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, AWS ECS, Fargate).
• Experience working with cloud database services (RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB).
• Experience working with cloud deployment languages (CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef, Ansible).
• Base understanding of cloud services and infrastructure (VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, EFS, VPC, SG, NACL).
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Active Secret Clearance or above.
• Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations.
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
• Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred Currently pursuings:

• AWS Certification (AWS Solution Architect Associate, AWS Developer, AWS DevOps).
