Job Description:
AmPac Business Capital is seeking a passionate and community-minded professional to join their team to support and grow their fundraising and development initiatives, particularly focused on engaging non-traditional funders (e.g., philanthropic foundations, family offices, faith-based investors, CSR arms of corporations, etc.).

• Key Responsibilities:
• Research & Identification of prospective non-traditional funders (mission-aligned foundations, faith-based institutions, community investors, etc.)
• Assist with Fundraising Strategies including donor engagement ideas, proposal writing, and impact storytelling
• Leverage Personal Networks to identify potential donor opportunities
• Support Relationship Management through thank-you communications, meeting scheduling, and cultivation strategies
• Collaborate with AmPac’s Executive Leadership to align outreach with strategic funding goals
• Document Efforts and Outcomes to inform grant readiness and follow-ups
• Who You Are:
• A retired or semi-retired professional with a background in business, fundraising, community organizing, philanthropy, or ministry
• Passionate about community and economic development
• Skilled at relationship-building and outreach
• Comfortable using email, basic research tools, and video conferencing
• Excellent communicator and team collaborator
• Internship Details:
• Time Commitment: Flexible, ideally 8–10 hours/week
• Duration: 3–6 months (with potential for renewal)
• Compensation: Stipend or volunteer arrangement available
