Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and efficient machine learning models for various applications, including natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics.
• Conduct cutting-edge research into new AI/ML algorithms and techniques, translating theoretical insights into practical, production-ready solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to define requirements, design architectures, and integrate ML solutions into existing platforms.
• Optimize ML pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, ensuring seamless data ingestion, model training, evaluation, and serving.
• Develop and maintain MLOps infrastructure, including automated model deployment, monitoring, and retraining systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to fostering a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML research and industry best practices, proposing and implementing new technologies where appropriate.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and architectural decisions related to our AI platform and services.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, research, or a closely related role, with a strong portfolio of deployed ML solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python and popular ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying ML models in a production environment.
• Solid understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms (e.g., deep learning, supervised/unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning), and statistical modeling.
• Experience with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Ray).
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) and ETL processes.
• Contributions to open-source projects, academic publications, or active participation in the ML community.
• Experience with specific domains such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision (CV), or Time-Series Forecasting.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
