What You’ll Actually Do
Accounting Operations: Prepare and review accounting records for intangible assets, goodwill, and fixed assets in compliance with established policies and guidelines, interpreting reports, resolving business partner inquiries, and analyzing data trends.
Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and meticulously review inputs for financial statements and accurately draft necessary disclosures for regulatory accounting filings, including Form 10-Q and 10-K, while providing comprehensive support for audit processes.
Consultation: Expertly field and respond to complex accounting questions and inquiries from internal business partners, ensuring all guidance aligns perfectly with established accounting standards, corporate guidelines, and internal accounting policies.
Process Enhancement: Contribute to continuous process-improvement efforts within the team and across functions by systematically collecting and reviewing feedback from stakeholders and proactively incorporating optimal industry practices.
Compliance & Controls: Perform detailed gap analysis to assist business process owners in the design and subsequent implementation of robust operational and financial controls crucial for Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance cycles.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Senior Accounting Manager is expected to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, or a closely related field, or possess equivalent practical experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting or finance principles.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of dedicated accounting or finance experience is required with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 3 years with a Master’s Degree. This experience should ideally include goodwill, intangible asset, and fixed asset accounting, particularly within multinational companies handling multiple currencies.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), specifically ASC 350 and ASC 360, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance. Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel and Power BI are essential, alongside practical experience with large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP.
• Bonus: A professional accounting certification such as CPA or an equivalent qualification is highly preferred. Additionally, candidates with 6+ years (Master’s Degree) or 8+ years (Bachelor’s Degree) of relevant accounting or finance experience, solid cross-group collaboration, strong interpersonal skills, a passion for driving execution and results, and the ability to deeply understand and prioritize issues in evolving areas will be strongly considered.
