The client is an established manufacturing company seeking a hands-on accountant ready to drive accuracy and compliance across financial operations. This position offers direct visibility into how capital decisions are made at the leadership level, providing an opportunity for your SOX and GAAP expertise to genuinely shape how the company operates, rather than simply checking compliance boxes. You will join a team that prioritizes technical depth and process improvement, stepping into a strategy-adjacent leadership role within accounting that moves beyond transactional bookkeeping.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Hybrid, 3 days on-site

• Audit Leadership: Lead audit readiness efforts, preparing documentation and disclosures that hold up under both internal and external scrutiny.
• Process Modernization: Drive automation initiatives that cut manual effort and modernize legacy reporting processes.
• Control Design: Design and strengthen internal controls, ensuring the team stays ahead of compliance requirements rather than reacting to them.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level accounting professional with five or more years of progressive experience, specifically within a SOX-controlled and audit-ready environment. A strong working knowledge of US GAAP is essential, encompassing principles such as depreciation, capitalization, and impairment.
