• Pay: $110000–$115000 yearly
• Team: Indirectly supervise a team of more junior-level members.
• Mission: Lead projects and provide oversight for the work of staff accountants, ensuring financial accuracy and GAAP compliance within a SAAS organization.
• Tech Stack: Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Accuracy: Prepare and review journal entries, and ensure correct balances through various reconciliations.
• Compliance & Reporting: Maintain adherence to GAAP and prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages for upper-level management.
• Audit Collaboration: Partner effectively with both internal and external auditors to support audit processes.
• Process Improvement: Work with different business units to troubleshoot and enhance financial processes as needed.
• Team Leadership: Provide indirect supervision and guidance to a team of junior-level accounting staff.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 4+ years of working experience within public accounting or a large corporate environment.
• Skills: Advanced skills in Excel, along with proficient verbal and written communication.
• Bonus: CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.
