Job Title: Security Officer – No Weekends!

Schedule: Monday – Friday (different shifts available)

About the Role:

Join Securitas Security and serve your community in a retail security position. We are seeking customer service-driven individuals with a background in retail or customer service to provide security services during weekdays, with no weekend work required. You will receive elite training in safety and security and benefit from dedicated Region and Area Management Support Staff to foster your growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Perform conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Execute loss prevention / asset protection strategies.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and different types of terrain.
• Engage frequently with client employees and guests in a professional manner.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed report writing for incidents and observations.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve daily site and organizational goals.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Control access for patrons, visitors, or vendors as required.
• Monitor CCTV systems.
• Conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.

Basic Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or the ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Possess standard computer / technology skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience is a plus!
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of customers in a calm and professional manner.
• Demonstrate great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation techniques.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
