Job Description: Cloud GTM Strategy and Operations Intern
This internship opportunity within Salesforce’s Cloud GTM Strategy and Operations team is a unique blend of strategic planning, sales strategy, finance, and analytics. You’ll be working closely with Salesforce Product executives to drive the go-to-market strategy and execution for their ever-growing product portfolio.
What you’ll be doing:
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Design and maintain key performance dashboards (KPIs) using automation.
• Lead ongoing analysis of business performance using SQL and Excel.
• Develop ad-hoc data analysis for presentations to the Cloud GTM Strategy group.
• Monitor key performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations to sales and product leadership.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and propose solutions for system or process improvements.
• Build reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com, Google Sheets, and Tableau.
• Strategic Initiatives:
• Contribute to product expansion, white space analysis, new product launches, and pipeline management initiatives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the go-to-market model and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives.
• Support Salesforce process enhancements, modifications, and best practices development.
You’ll need:
• Current Junior/Rising Senior: Planning to graduate Spring/Summer 2026.
• GPA of 3.5 or above:
• Strong analytical skills: Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis, economics, strategy, advanced mathematics, and/or statistics.
• Data Skills: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and Tableau. Experience with SQL or other database querying languages is a plus.
• Experience analyzing large data sets: Ability to distill insights and communicate them effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft well-defined project plans.
• Excellent communication skills: Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to a wide audience, including senior executives.
• Team player: Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Passion for cloud computing and social enterprise:
Bonus points if you have:
• Experience applying statistics to business problems.
• Experience accessing data from various platforms.
• Experience analyzing or building reporting related to key performance metrics.
• Experience developing dashboards or performing analysis using an iterative approach.
