Job Description:
This is an internship opportunity within Salesforce’s Enterprise Security Advisory team. As an intern, you’ll join a team of seasoned security professionals and contribute to securing Salesforce’s flagship services, product offerings, and partner applications. Your responsibilities will be multifaceted and will offer you a deep dive into the world of enterprise security.
Here’s a breakdown of your responsibilities:
• Penetration Testing & Code Reviews: You’ll be involved in black-box penetration testing and code reviews, actively searching for vulnerabilities within Salesforce’s products and services. This will involve utilizing your understanding of security best practices to identify and exploit potential weaknesses.
• Security Initiatives & Threat Modeling: You’ll actively participate in design reviews and threat modeling sessions, working closely with technology and business partners to implement security and privacy initiatives. You’ll be involved in shaping how Salesforce builds secure solutions.
• Incident Response & Vulnerability Remediation: You’ll contribute to incident response efforts and vulnerability remediation activities, ensuring that Salesforce promptly addresses security issues and maintains a secure environment.
• Research & Development: You’ll get the opportunity to conduct groundbreaking applied research on new attack vectors, present your findings internally and externally, and contribute to Salesforce’s security knowledge base.
• Tool Evaluation & Development: You’ll assess and evaluate various application security tools, ultimately contributing to Salesforce’s internal security toolset. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop new automation and tooling to improve Salesforce’s security posture.
• Secure Code Practices & Training: You’ll contribute to the development of secure code practices and provide hands-on training to developers and quality engineers, helping to instill a culture of security across Salesforce’s development teams.
