Job Description
The Bridgeport Islanders are seeking a team of dedicated Seasonal Interns to join them for the 2024-25 season. As key members of the Islanders Marketing team, interns will play a vital role in all gameday entertainment and fan experience initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the sports and entertainment industry, working alongside a passionate and dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the creation and execution of exciting gameday entertainment for fans.
• Assist in the development and implementation of fan experience initiatives.
• Be a dedicated and enthusiastic team member, actively contributing to the success of the season.
Ideal Candidates:
• Possess a strong work ethic with a “can-do” attitude.
• Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and accountability in their work.
• Are passionate about the game of hockey and the sports and entertainment industry.
• Are proficient in creating and editing static graphics, motion graphics, and short-form video content.
• Have experience or relevant coursework in sports or sports management (preferred, not required).
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Are available to work all Bridgeport Islanders home games for the 2023-24 season.
• Are a motivated self-starter with a “no-task-too-small” attitude.

Commitment:
Interns are expected to be available for all regular season home games at Total Mortgage Arena, as well as attend occasional off-site events in the community.
