Search Ads Intern

The TikTok Search Ads team is dedicated to serving global advertisers, providing advertising products that connect brands with TikTok search users. This team plays a vital role in helping advertisers grow their business on TikTok search, which is rapidly becoming a preferred search engine for Gen Z and beyond. The internship offers a chance to shape the future of search and commerce, working with a team that’s revolutionizing how we discover and engage with content.

What You’ll Do:

Contribute to Search Ads product development: Participate in and lead the development of search ad products for TikTok and TikTok Shop, including web ads, app ads, lead ads, and TikTok shop ads.
Understand advertiser needs: Conduct market and competitor analyses to understand advertiser needs and design products that optimize customer ROI and satisfaction.
Analyze and iterate products: Track customer feedback, analyze product performance, and continuously iterate products based on insights.
Master the auction ads system: Deeply understand the auction ads system and develop strategies to improve system efficiency.
Optimize delivery speed and quality: Constantly evolve processes and resources to improve the delivery speed and quality of advertising products.
Expand advertising knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the global advertising market and the needs of search advertisers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with R&D, middle platform, platform, PSO, and other teams to advance projects.

Who You Are:

Pursuing a BA/BS degree: In Computer Science or a related technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent communication and analytical skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, organize tasks efficiently, and analyze data accurately.

Bonus Points:

Prior internship experience: Experience interning at internet companies is preferred.
Data analysis experience: Project practice with data analysis is a plus.
Technical background: A technical background is highly preferred.
