Scientist III – BioProcess Applications Lab

Location: Hercules, CA

Job Summary:

The Scientist III – BioProcess Applications Lab will be responsible for developing and validating novel and innovative bioprocess applications using our proprietary droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) technology. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of bioprocess applications, including cell culture, fermentation, and purification, as well as experience with molecular biology techniques, such as PCR and ddPCR.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate novel bioprocess applications using ddPCR technology
• Optimize ddPCR assays for bioprocess applications
• Train and support customers on the use of ddPCR technology for bioprocess applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and commercialize new products and applications
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in bioprocess applications and ddPCR technology
• Present research findings at scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals

Qualifications:

• PhD in a relevant field, such as molecular biology, biochemistry, or chemical engineering
• 3+ years of experience in bioprocess applications, including cell culture, fermentation, and purification
• Strong understanding of molecular biology techniques, such as PCR and ddPCR
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
