This role is vital in ensuring that students receive safe and punctual transport to and from school, alongside providing attentive babysitting services. The individual stepping into this position will directly interact with the children and parents, playing a significant role in fostering a secure and engaging atmosphere, thereby helping parents successfully balance their professional and family lives.

• Pay: $19–$31 hourly

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transportation: Safely and punctually transport students to and from school near the College of Charleston.
• Caregiving: Provide attentive and responsible babysitting services as needed for children.
• Environment Creation: Maintain a comfortable and secure environment for children during both transport and care.
• Parental Communication: Effectively communicate with parents regarding student well-being and schedule updates.
• Guideline Adherence: Diligently follow all specific directions and instructions provided by the family.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in or a graduate of college, candidates must demonstrate a proven background in a babysitting role. Essential qualities include a genuine love for working with children, a passion for helping others, and the willingness to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check to ensure family safety and trust.
• Experience: Mandatory proven experience in a babysitting role, demonstrating competence and responsibility in childcare.
• Skills: Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an absolutely clean driving record, reflecting a commitment to safety. Essential soft skills include unwavering reliability and punctuality for all scheduled transport and care, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective interaction with both children and parents, and a strong capacity to follow all provided directions and family guidelines.
• Bonus: Previous experience in driving or working with students is preferred.
