The Tone:
This is a full-time consulting role at Accenture, located in Bangalore or Gurgaon. What You’ll Actually Do
• Advise: Provide strategic advisory services and develop data-driven recommendations to enhance client business performance.
• Deliver: Lead or contribute to the delivery of consulting projects for global clients, encompassing strategy, implementation, process design, and change management.
• Execute: Work on assigned projects as an individual contributor or team member, utilizing skills across data engineering to data science.
• Develop: Create assets, methodologies, points of view, research, or white papers for use by the team and the broader professional community.
• Support: Contribute to strategies and operating models for specific business units, assessing competitive responses and implementation readiness.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or another Quantitative field, with proven experience (4+ years) in Life Sciences/Pharma/Healthcare projects.
• Experience: 4-8 years of experience, including an excellent understanding of Pharma data sets (commercial, clinical, RWE, EMR) and hands-on experience with real-world evidence data, R&D clinical data, or digital marketing data, and datasets like Komodo, RAVE, IQVIA, Truven, Optum.
• Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, and Spark; hands-on experience building and deploying statistical models/machine learning (segmentation, predictive modeling, hypothesis testing, multivariate statistical analysis, time series techniques, optimization); expertise in handling large datasets and performing data management using SQL databases; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and scaling models; experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview, or Spotfire; ability to leverage design thinking, business process optimization, and stakeholder management skills; strong writing skills to build points of view on industry trends; good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
