Job Description
This is an internship position supporting the Salesforce Operations team at SEIA. The primary objective of the intern is to assist with data clean-up, report updates, and various administrative tasks within Salesforce. The role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience with CRM systems, data management, and the operational support required for a sales organization. The focus will be on enhancing data accuracy, optimizing reports, and streamlining processes to boost the sales team’s efficiency.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Assisting in data clean-up and ensuring high data accuracy within Salesforce.
• Providing administrative support to the sales team, which involves updating records, managing workflows, and maintaining user accounts.
• Supporting with lead assignments within Salesforce.
• Contributing to efforts to streamline processes to minimize manual tasks for the sales team.
• Performing data entry and record updates.
• Offering general administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and coordinating team activities.
Requirements for the role are:
• A strong attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle evolving tasks and priorities.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• An eagerness to take on administrative tasks and provide team support.
• A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for process improvement.
• All academic majors are encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Working Conditions:
• This internship pays $18 per hour.
• The internship duration is from September 29th through December 12th.
• The position requires 15-20 hours per week.
• The internship is based in SEIA’s Washington, DC office.
• Interns are required to be in the office on designated team days (2-3 days a week) and specifically for cohort touch base meetings.
