Job Title: Sales Trainee / Sales Support Intern

As a Sales Trainee/Intern, you will be an integral part of our sales team, working closely with managers and experienced sales associates. This position is designed to provide hands-on exposure to the entire sales cycle, from lead generation support and client communication to performance analysis and deal closing observation. You will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, ensuring data accuracy, and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the sales department, all while building a strong foundation for a career in sales or business development.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborative Task Completion: Work directly with your manager or a designated sales associate to execute a variety of assigned tasks, ensuring timely and effective completion that supports sales objectives.
Observational Learning: Actively attend and participate in internal meetings, client presentations, and industry events to observe, understand, and learn about sales strategies, client interactions, and market dynamics.
Documentation & Record Keeping: Accurately update and maintain sales records, client information, and various sales-related documents within our systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Sales Process Immersion: Observe and analyze the intricacies of the sales process, paying close attention to techniques for engaging clients, negotiating terms, and effectively closing deals.
Client & Vendor Communication Support: Facilitate communication with clients and vendors as requested by your manager, assisting with inquiries, scheduling, and information exchange to maintain positive relationships.
Research & Data Collection: Conduct market research, gather competitive intelligence, and collate survey data to provide valuable insights that support sales strategy development and market understanding.
Performance Monitoring: Assist in assessing sales performance against established targets, contributing to the analysis of success metrics and identification of areas for improvement.
Knowledge Consolidation: Systematically take and organize notes on new information, processes, and insights gained while on the job, contributing to your personal development and the team’s knowledge base.
