Job Description: Sales Specialist, Neuroscience – Northeast Indiana
This role is focused on promoting and selling Johnson & Johnson’s neuroscience products within the Northeast Indiana region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive business plans, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and driving sales within their assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer-Specific Selling: Devise and implement tailored pre and post-call selling approaches that address the specific needs and perspectives of practitioners and institutions, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
• Value Proposition Communication: Consistently utilize approved clinical studies and marketing aids to effectively communicate the value proposition of Johnson & Johnson’s neuroscience products to healthcare professionals. Adapt the message to align with practitioner, institutional, and company objectives.
• Business Plan Development & Execution: Create and implement a comprehensive business plan for the territory, identifying opportunities and challenges, outlining key strategies and tactics, and maximizing available resources.
• Territory Coverage: Develop and maintain a territory coverage plan that maximizes selling time with key account professionals. Adjust the schedule to increase access to key stakeholders, including coverage of all shifts.
• Contract Implementation: Influence contract implementation processes within assigned institutions, maximizing the value proposition of the products and ensuring hospital stakeholders adhere to the contract terms.
• Payer Access & Affordability: Develop and apply knowledge of payer access and affordability landscape within the territory to understand how reimbursement and coverage impact product accessibility.
• Integrated Business Planning: Develop and implement an integrated business plan that outlines clear strategies and tactics for targeting key accounts, leveraging all available resources, and aligning with district, regional, and company goals.
• Business Analytics: Analyze business analytics to identify territory opportunities, strengths, and trends, monitor the effectiveness of the business plan, and adjust the plan to mitigate competitive impacts and maximize sales opportunities.
