Job Description:
The Everlight Solar Sales Psychology Internship is a paid internship program designed to teach the fundamentals of modern sales psychology. It focuses on understanding customer needs and positioning offerings to solve their problems, moving away from antiquated “pushy” sales tactics.
Core Objectives:
• Business Practices: Understanding market analysis, KPI reporting, technology trends, and data interpretation for informed business decisions.
• Interpersonal Skills: Acquiring effective non-verbal and para-verbal communication, negotiation, closing techniques, and handling customer objections.
• Networking: Creating a network of industry professionals for mentorship and post-graduation opportunities.
• Personal Development: Participation in company book reviews, practicing mental discipline, and continuous improvement.
• Problem-Solving: Developing strong problem-solving skills through shadowing experienced sales representatives and attending company training sessions.
Prerequisites and Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a relevant accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
• Minimum of one or more years of coursework towards a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant program.
• Proficient with iOS and mobile software programs.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to memorize and comprehend industry-critical information.
• Self-starter with flexibility to work varied hours.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
