Google Store Sales Operations Lead | Google
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Google, located in Singapore. Google’s Platforms and Devices team develops computing software platforms across various environments, along with first-party devices and services that integrate Google AI, software, and hardware to create seamless user experiences worldwide. The Devices and Services Business organization drives the P&L for Google-branded hardware like Pixel and Nest, as well as key subscription services. This role is crucial for delivering direct-to-consumer sales targets via the Google Store in the APAC region, by managing business processes and operations, and ensuring a top-notch online presence.

• Mission: Owns the growth and operational efficiency of Google Store direct-to-consumer sales in the APAC region for hardware and wearables.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Drive APAC gStore business processes and operations, including forecasting, promotions management, and pipeline management for hardware and wearables.
• Market Growth: Grow and manage the gStore business and its impact across key Asia-Pacific markets, specifically Japan, India, Australia, Taiwan, and Singapore.
• Analysis: Run in-depth funnel analysis and elasticity studies to identify growth opportunities and solve business issues, focusing on internal analysis rather than external data analysts.
• E-commerce Management: Manage core e-commerce sales operations within Google hardware, encompassing upcoming product launches, product lifecycle management, and direct ownership of commercial metrics.
• User Acquisition: Lead key sales operations workflows that utilize the gStore as the primary channel for acquiring and retaining users across the APAC ecosystem, ensuring clear alignment with commercial goals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, with expertise in e-commerce sales operations, demand forecasting, pipeline management, or retail commercial operations.
• Experience: Proven ability to conduct quantitative analysis, funnel analysis, or elasticity studies using data tools; experience managing product lifecycles, promotional campaigns, or retail product launches; consistently delivering business results despite issues.
• Skills: Quantitative analysis, funnel analysis, elasticity studies, e-commerce sales operations, project management, problem-solving.
• Bonus: Understanding of APAC cultural and e-commerce trends, ability to present key messages to various audiences, relationship building, cross-functional collaboration, translating data into actionable changes, excellent written and verbal communication, excellent attention to detail.
