Job Description: Sales Management Intern
• Location: Hybrid
• Type: Paid Internship (Summer or Semester-Based)
• Reports to: VP, Sales and Marketing
Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Management Intern to support our go-to-market efforts for OneStream implementation services and PartnerPlace-based software solutions. This role blends sales, solution positioning, lead generation, and pipeline tracking to contribute to growth in both consulting and software development service lines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
• Research, identify, and qualify prospects among finance, IT, and transformation leaders at mid-sized to large enterprises.
• Leverage tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, or ZoomInfo to build and maintain lead lists.
• Assist in cold outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn) and initial discovery calls.
2. Sales Enablement & Proposal Support
• Work with consultants and developers to understand Strategic iQ’s value proposition in financial system implementation and PartnerPlace apps.
• Prepare pitch decks, one-pagers, and client-specific proposal materials.
• Track customer interactions, update CRM systems, and report on progress in weekly team meetings.
3. Market Intelligence & Competitive Benchmarking
• Analyze OneStream ecosystem trends and identify how Strategic iQ’s offerings differentiate from other consulting and ISV partners.
• Support segmentation strategies by industry vertical (e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, tech) and use case (e.g., discontinued ops, budgeting, custom cubes).
4. Product & Services Evangelism
• Learn and communicate the business benefits of OneStream XF and Strategic iQ PartnerPlace solutions.
• Represent Strategic iQ at webinars, demos, or virtual events to engage prospects and collect feedback.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with marketing and solution delivery teams to refine messaging and case studies.
• Participate in internal strategy sessions to propose outreach improvements or GTM tactics.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, English studies, communications or related field.
• Strong interest in B2B SaaS, consulting, enterprise finance, and/or software development sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Organized and proactive with a drive to learn enterprise sales cycles.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), Excel, and LinkedIn Navigator is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial transformation software (e.g., OneStream, Oracle EPM, Anaplan) is preferred but not required.
