The internship program is a 10-week comprehensive and structured training curriculum designed for aspiring sales professionals. It is scheduled to officially begin on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, during the summer season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in a 10-week internship program featuring a comprehensive and structured training curriculum.
- Receive specialized training on the Medicare business, preparing you to serve Medicare-eligible members and prospects seeking health care coverage.
- Gain valuable experience through networking opportunities, basic technical skills training, speaker series, and additional enrichment activities throughout the summer program.
- Develop and significantly refine your selling and presentation skills through engaging selling competitions, simulated practice scenarios, projects, and direct job shadowing experiences.
- Obtain extensive exposure to our end-to-end sales process, health insurance principles, our consumer base, and the pivotal role our organization plays in the market.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of the Direct-to-Consumer Sales model and its critical function in overall distribution strategies.
- Provide support for agent interactions by assisting with inquiries and supplying relevant information and resources, either directly or through collaborative team efforts. This offers hands-on exposure to sales and sales support processes and significantly contributes to delivering a high-quality agent experience, potentially leading to enrollment in a UHC plan.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Major: Sales, Communication, Marketing.
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university throughout the entire duration of the internship.
- Must be a Rising Senior during the summer of 2026.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc., will not be considered).
