Job Description: Sales Intern
This is a 100% on-site role located in Kentwood, MI. As a Sales Intern at FWF, you will learn the fundamentals of sales prospecting, qualifying, and opportunity generation, as well as exposure to sales presenting and closing. This internship is designed to give you hands-on experience in identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and setting up qualified meetings for the full-time sales team. This is a great opportunity for aspiring sales professionals looking to develop core sales skills through collaborative, hands-on experience. The role is compensated at an hourly base rate plus commission and bonuses.
Responsibilities:
• Research and identify potential leads through various lead-generation platforms.
• Qualify leads by assessing needs and determining their fit with FWF services.
• Outreach to prospective clients via cold calls, emails, and social media.
• Maintain accurate and updated lead information in the company CRM.
• Set appointments with qualified prospects and collaborate with the sales team on meeting preparation and presentation.
• Track and report on outreach activities and lead progress.
• Collaborate with tenured sales roles on pricing and negotiation strategies.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and opportunities that drive customer onboarding.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and training teams to align on sales strategies and messaging.
• Attend training sessions on sales techniques, industry knowledge, and market insights.
• Shadow experienced sales professionals to learn best practices.
