This internship will run from May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026 and will require at least three days a week in person at the VA office.

Pixis Drones, LLC. creates breathtaking drone shows that illuminate the night sky. We blend creative storytelling with entertainment to create aerial art displays of words, logos, and images that leave a lasting impression with audiences.
What This Internship is About:
The Sales Intern supports the business development and marketing team in identifying, researching, and nurturing new opportunities for drone light shows.
This role is ideal for a current college student who is curious about:
- Sales and business development
- Aviation and drone technology
- Experiential marketing and live events
- Brand storytelling and emerging tech
You will learn how a cutting-edge aviation entertainment company builds pipeline, develops proposals, and turns creative ideas into revenue.
You won’t be expected to “close deals” — you’ll be learning how deals are built.
Key Responsibilities
- Research prospective clients across industries (sports, entertainment, agencies, municipalities, brands)
- Assist in building outbound prospect lists and maintaining CRM data integrity
- Support lead qualification and opportunity tracking in HubSpot
- Help draft introductory outreach emails and follow-up communications
- Conduct market and competitive research on drone show providers and experiential trends
- Assist in preparing pitch decks, proposals, and case study materials
- Track inbound inquiries and support timely responses
- Participate in sales meetings and strategy sessions
- Support on-site activations when possible to understand product execution firsthand
- Provide general administrative and project support to the sales and marketing team
What You’re All About:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurship, Aviation, Technology, or related field
- Strong interest in sales, marketing, or business development
- Curious about drones, aviation technology, or emerging tech
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable speaking professionally in emails and meetings
- Eager to learn how revenue is generated in a live production environment
- Self-starter with strong research skills
- Positive, proactive, and comfortable asking questions
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred but not required) is a plus
Salary:
$15/h Enrolled in an Undergrad program, $16.50/h for completing an Undergrad program, but not starting a Graduate program and $18/h enrolled in or obtained Graduate degree
