Job Description: Sales Intern
ADP is seeking Sales Interns for a hands-on selling experience with award-winning sales training. The internship focuses on prospecting new business and selling additional solutions to existing ADP clients in an assigned geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Network with key decision-makers in a designated territory
• Develop and execute a strategy to prospect targets for ADP payroll and human resources solutions
• Mine existing and prospective clients for referral business
• Work with the Training team to grow selling skills
Required Qualifications:
• Positive Self-Starter: Upbeat, persistent, ability to cold call, manage time well, and present ideas professionally.
• Agile Solution Seeker: Problem solver who can find solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous Learner: Currently attending school and has completed at least three years of a four-year bachelor’s degree program.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):
• Prior Sales experience
• Exhibits leadership skills and works well in a collaborative environment
• Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information
• Proficient with computer applications and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Benefits and Compensation:
• Base salary: $16.67 – $20.86 / Hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience.
