Sales Internship | Kelly Tutors
The Tone:
This is a remote internship at Kelly Tutors. Kelly Tutors is an edutainment-focused learning company that delivers live online classes, one-on-one coaching, and group programs for kids aged 5–18. The company blends tutoring, study skills, humor, and cultural commentary, with a strong emphasis on project-based, experiential learning like building real businesses. This sales intern role is vital for expanding the company’s outreach to families and partners, helping more young learners discover programs that build confidence, money skills, and entrepreneurial mindsets.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Outreach Coordination: Support proactive outreach efforts to engage parents and educational partners about Kelly Tutors’ programs.
• Lead Nurturing: Respond to inquiries, follow up with prospective families, and nurture relationships across various communication channels.
• Sales Administration: Assist with tracking the sales pipeline, updating contact records, and preparing basic reports on outreach and conversion.
• Program Communication: Clearly present program details, answer questions from prospects, and guide them to appropriate classes or services.
• Content Refinement: Contribute by suggesting improvements to sales messaging and materials, and support informational sessions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student, recent graduate, or non-US resident, with demonstrated interest in education, youth programs, entrepreneurship, or edtech.
• Experience: Foundational skills in sales and sales management, including comfort with outreach, follow-up, and basic pipeline tracking. Prior experience in tutoring, camps, or customer-facing roles is a plus.
• Skills: Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, basic proficiency with online communication and CRM or spreadsheet tools, self-directed, and organized.
• Bonus: Ability to support training-related activities, such as assisting with informational sessions or helping refine scripts and FAQs.
