About the Role
As a Sales Intern at FWF, you will gain hands-on experience and a foundational understanding of the sales cycle, from initial prospecting to opportunity generation. This internship is specifically designed to immerse you in identifying potential clients, understanding their unique needs, and strategically setting up qualified meetings for our experienced full-time sales team. It offers invaluable exposure to sales presenting and closing techniques.
This role is ideal for aspiring sales professionals eager to develop essential core sales skills through collaborative and practical experience within a dynamic 3PL environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Research and identify potential leads utilizing various lead-generation platforms.
• Qualify leads by thoroughly assessing client needs and determining their fit with FWF’s diverse range of services.
• Conduct outreach to prospective clients through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media.
• Maintain accurate and updated lead information within the company’s CRM system.
• Set appointments with qualified prospects and actively collaborate with our sales team on meeting preparation and presentation strategies.
• Track and report on all outreach activities and lead progression.
• Collaborate with tenured sales roles to learn and assist with pricing and negotiation strategies.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and opportunities to drive customer onboarding.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and training teams to align on overarching sales strategies and messaging.
• Attend comprehensive training sessions focused on sales techniques, industry knowledge, and market insights.
• Shadow experienced sales professionals to learn and adopt best practices in the field.

Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Competitive: A drive to succeed without compromising integrity.
• Humble: Eager to learn and actively seeks constructive feedback for growth.
• Self-starter: Proactive, not afraid to make mistakes, and committed to learning from them.
• Problem-solver: Resourceful and willing to find solutions, even when immediate answers aren’t apparent.
• Resilient: Views rejection as a learning opportunity and maintains composure through challenges.
• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus but not required.

Compensation
