About the Job: Sales Intern

This Sales Intern role at SC Johnson offers a unique opportunity for early career talent to directly impact the business while gaining valuable experience in the consumer products (CPG) space. The internship is based in either Rogers, AR or Minneapolis, MN.

Role Description & Responsibilities:
The Sales Intern will be assigned a core project that necessitates cross-functional collaboration with team members from sales, marketing, and customer marketing. This structure is designed to provide rapid insight into how a leading-edge CPG company executes its brand strategies in the market.

The internship program is structured to develop several key skills:
• Analytical: Focus on assessing current business challenges within the customer base to uncover insights and unique solutions.
• Creative: Opportunity to demonstrate creativity through shopper insight-based experiences, selling tactics, and fresh perspectives on the shopper’s path to purchase.
• Strategic: Emphasis on understanding and executing elements tied to SC Johnson’s broader business strategy.
• Presentation: Culminates in a presentation to leadership, detailing findings, results, and recommendations from the project.

Required Experience You’ll Bring:
• Must be currently enrolled in and seeking a bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field.
• Must have a graduation date of May/June 2027.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.
• Availability to complete the internship from May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026.

Preferred Experiences And Skills:
• Prior internship experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business; CPG (Consumer Product Goods) experience is preferred.
• Involvement and leadership roles in various school activities.
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for developing internal and external relationships.
• Proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering results in a fast-paced work environment, fostering ownership and curiosity.

Job Requirements:
• This is a full-time (Monday-Friday), 12-week summer internship.
• This position is not eligible for remote work.
• This is a developmental position, and candidates will most likely relocate for future opportunities within the company.
